Food wasn't bad but all of our orders came out at different times, 5 minutes from the 1st order to the 2nd order coming out then another 10 minutes before the 3rd and 4th orders came out. 1st order was a slice of pizza off the bar and the second was a salad - both could have been brought to the table at the same time the 3rd and 4th orders were brought out.

Good New York Style pizza. Great Value, slices are huge. Warning they do not accept American Express, will not be coming back for that reason alone.

Before I start this review, let me say, I have lived in New York City. I have lived in Park Slope Brooklyn and the Financial District of Manhattan. During my time there I also spent a lot of time in Queens and the Bronx. I am a single young guy, so naturally, while I was there I ate a lot of pizza. New York Pizza Slice House definitely competes with all of my favorite pizza joints in NYC. Quality crust. Quality ingredients. I definitely recommend NYC Slice House. Brandon Madrid

I'm from New York Disappointed not much better than your chain restaurants. Place is to small to enjoy a slice or a pie. It tries to imitate a real NY pizza. It just another eat and get out. Have no idea how they can stay in business. There hole setup is wrong and over price.

Ok, I don't know why I hadn't found this place in the last year but stumbled upon it today. Thank God I did! For a girl from Jersey this place is now going to be my go to place for pizza. The pizza is as authentic as it comes and the crust just like I remembered growing up. I didn't have room for a cannoli, but bought two home and OMG! To die for. I can't wait to sample the rest of the menu. The place isn't fancy but in NY/NJ pizza places aren't, you go in for a slice or two eat and leave. Anyone who is looking for anything upscale, this isn't it, but it doesn't need to be because it's that good! My daughter had the gelato and loved, loved, loved it.

It's not New York pizza, which has a crust that almost isn't risen at all, and slidy, greasy cheese. But it's good pizza. We tried the white pie, the pepperoni, and the cheese pizza, and the meat calzone. Fast, friendly service. I recommend it!

Best takeout pizza in town. New Haven pizza = magical. (And vegetarian!) I haven't eaten in the restaurant itself, but come on, it's a pizza place. You get a pizza and you take it somewhere and you eat it and you revel in the glory that is pizza. If you want authentically Italian pizza with a glass of wine, go to Luna Rossa. If you want upscale dining with good pizza options, go to Zeffiro's downtown. If you want a good slice of pizza near NMSU, go to Zeffiro's on University. But if you want the best takeout pizza in town? Go here.

Buy a frozen pizza, throw it in a generic cardboard box, and buy a Hostess Cup Cake for your "double chocolate brownie." Seriously biggest ripoff in Las Cruces.

Amazing! Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I didn't get exactly what I ordered. Pizza is definitely the best in town. Having had authentic NY pizza I can say it's really close. I ordered the Picante pizza, which was really good, and two cannolis: plain and chocolate. I ended up getting two plain but they were the best I've had west of the NY boarder. I've tried other bakeries that make them but these guys are the best. Will be getting pizza here from now on.

Decent cheap pizza. The slices are huge. 2 slices, drink, and chips or brownie for $7.99 is a great deal that fills you up. Crust leaves something to desire though.

We stopped at the NYP Pizza Slice House for lunch on Friday. The quality of the pizza was probably 4*, however they only had bottled water, tea, and soft drinks. Since I like ice tea, that was a downer, especially when the only ice tea they had to offer was sweetened (sugar). Another problem was the fact that we usually like a salad with our pizza. The menu lists salads (house and spinach), but none were available on Friday. Maybe they haven't been open long enough to serve that portion of their menu yet. They do have as the sign indicates, slices of pizza for sale. We are not opposed to revisiting them in the future.

Some of the best pizza in LC, hands down. Not sure if Best in LC" title should go to them, or Zeffiro's on Water St. - both are very good.

A quaint little pizza joint that offers pizza by the slice or to order. With five tables and six seats up at the bar the atmosphere is quite cozy. Ordered garlic bread with cheese and a 14" New Yorker pizza (mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, ricotta, garlic and oregano). The bread sticks were good with the appropriate amount of cheese and not overly garlicky. The pizza was delicious. Crust was crisp and tasteful and the ingredients blended very well. The only criticism is that the restaurant doesn't offer fountain drinks. All drinks purchased are bottled. Other than that, this place is a definite must try!

We were there on a Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. It was pretty busy but not overcrowded. They turn out good NY style pizza, and the servers are attentive and helpful. Tess B. mentioned there was no music, but there is now. It's a pretty bare bones place, the chairs could be more comfortable, but we really enjoyed the New Yorker pizza we got, redolent with fresh garlic and a delicious sauce. And the iced tea (unsweetened) actually looks and tastes like tea, a rarity in this town! Not in love with the potato chip and brownie thing, I would not like either one with pizza. A small, less expensive side salad would be appreciated. We asked about delivery and were told they were considering it. I hope that happens, I would choose them over Domino's any day! They've got a good thing going.

The pizza is pretty good but the restaurant as a whole needs some improvement. It is awkwardly quiet and empty and would benefit with some music, also they were put of everything, brownie, salads in general they said they were out of. Their choice of sides for the pizza is chips which probably is the last thing I want with pizza. Hopefully they can improve some basic things about this place because I can see it becoming successful if they do.

I like the vibes very chill... And I like that it not expensive like #1 pizza combo is 6.95 for a slice of pizza, garden salad and a drink! And they deliver! Two thumbs up!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
